Western Australia Police have charged Barrientos with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding a person’s breathing applying pressure to the neck.
Yung Filly, a prominent figure in the online entertainment scene, celebrated for his collaborations with fellow YouTubers like Chunkz and Beta Squad, was arrested in Brisbane before being transported to Perth. He is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court, where the allegations will be addressed. As of now, these charges remain unproven. Despite the serious nature of the accusations, Yung Filly continues to be a recognized figure, having hosted BBC’s “Hot Property” and collaborated with major brands such as ASOS and McDonald’s. He boasts millions of followers across social media platforms, including YouTube and TikTok.
The news has sparked a strong reaction across the internet, with users expressing a mix of shock and disbelief. One comment read, “I always knew there was something about this dutty likkle bludclart,” while another user remarked, “This is actually insane. Guilty or innocent, hopefully justice prevails.” Some users were surprised the revelations, with comments like, “What the hell who is this?” and “I didn’t even know this dude, I literally saw him on Kai Cenat live hitting a freestyle.”
Others took the opportunity to reflect on broader societal issues, with one user commenting, “I’m male. And I’ll say there’s a certain group of egocentric men out there that think they’re God’s gift, and if someone shows the slightest interest, they think it means there are no boundaries. What environment do these people grow up in to think this is okay behavior?”
